Cuttlebug Mania challenge: Midsummer

In Norway, where I come from,
and in the other countries of Scandinavia,
we celebrate midsummer.
Mostly the celebration is on the 23rd of June,
St. John's evening.

On this day many young girls are wearing flower wreaths.
And flowers belong to this special day.
Over at Cuttlebug Mania the newest challenge is "Midsummer".
And we want to see flowers on your card.

For my midsummer card I used:
"Papeteria" A6 double card chamois;
Chamois card stock;
(Unfortunately this foto does not show the right chamois colour,
here it looks rather white.)

Green, purple and pink scrap papers;
Embossing folder: "Butterflies" (Lifestyle Crafts);
Wreath: "Spring Vine wreath" (Scrapping Cottage);
Butterfly: Marianne design;
Hearts: Martha Stewart punch;
Rhine stones.

I also want to show my card here:

  1. Just gorgeous Swissie, I love purple and saw some really beautiful purple flowers growing wild when I went to Finland one April weekend, haven't been to Norway, but I imagine the flowers are probably very welcome after a cold winter.
    Thanks for sharing your cheery happy card.
