Knitting, knitting, knitting

On cold days it is good to wear something warm around the neck.
I have knitted some "neck warmers" for children.
The next one is now on my needles.

Snowflakes

Also here in Switzerland we have got winter.
We have had a long period of rather cold, dry weather.
Now we also have got some snow.
The world is white and beautiful.
I made another card with this sportsman.
I think I have to use my winter images on such days ;)

I used:
"Papeteria" A6 double card, white;
Blue card stock for the mat;
White card stock for the image;
We R memory keepers "Nesting card die";
Marianne Design tree die;
Nellie: Reindeer die;
Image stamp: unknown (Norwegian);
Snowflake punch: Marvy Uchida;
Snowflake stamp: Heindesign;
Water colour pencils;
Glitter glue;
Blue and brown pens.

Cuttlebug Mania "Winter Wonderland"

Cuttlebug Mania is back after the Christmas break,
and our first challenge this year is: "Winter Wonderland".
We want you to make a project showing winter:
Nature, snow, ice, winter sports and so on.
Please take a look at our page
to se what the talented DT ladies have made.
As always there is also a great prize to win.
You have got two weeks to join in.

For my DT card I used:
White card stock for the card and the image;
Blue paper for the mat;
Cream and brown marbled card stock;
Stamp: Unknown
(It's a Norwegian one. I don't remember the name);
Embossing folder: Tim Holz "Mini Tall Pines";
We R memory keepers "Nesting card dies" (2x).

I coloured the stamp and the pine trees
with water colour pencils.
I sponged the white space around the image
with blue distress ink.
To give the card a "frosty" look,
I added a little bit of silver glitter glue on and around the trees.

Julekurver

Jeg ønsker å delta her:

Blue Santa

With this blue Santa card I want to wish my followers
A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I wish you good health, lots of creative ideas and happiness,
but first and foremost God's blessings!
Thank you for all your inspirations!
I look forward to seing all your great projects 2017.

For this card I used:
"Papeteria" A6 double card white;
White card stock for the mat;
Scraps of blue and white papers;
Image: Beccy's Place;
Gift: Craft Sensations stamp;
Blue distress ink;
Stars: Leftovers from a star border punch.

I free hand cut the images,
sponged the white card stock with blue distress ink
and used the same distress ink for the "gift".

With his card I want to take place here:

Happy 100th Birthday!

I think it is the first time I make a card for a 100th birthday.
The birthday is on New Years Eve,
but while we thought there will be many visitors on that day,
my husband and I decided to visit the old lady on Christmas Eve.
I am so glad we did!
This lady looks like a 70 year old woman.
And she can remember, of course from her childhood,
but also what happened last year and two weeks ago. Amazing.
I brought my guitar for our visit, and we sang Christmas Carols.
My husband read some Christmas poems
and the Christmas Gospel, Luke 2,1-20.
The old lady showed her joy. It was wonderful.
I made a combined Christmas and Birthday card.
And because I am fond of CAS,
I also made this one without much stash.
I used:
Red card stock;
Snippets of green papers and designer paper;
Spellbinders Poinsettia and scalloped oval dies;
Stamp: Rico design;
Embossing powder: Rayher "gold";
Rhine stone;
"Gold" pen and metallic ink;
Number: Artoz sticker.
